Values

An honor and a privilege to earn your vote for Ward 2.

Accountable Representation

If elected by Ward 2 residents, Danielle's top priority is to ensure every resident has accessible and transparent representation. What does that mean? We're all busy living our lives, and often reach out to city officials for help when problems need solutions.

Danielle will actively listen to your questions and comments, and work to understand the core concerns. Danielle commits to spend 20-30 hours per week working for Ward 2 - by communicating with residents, by connecting with local officials and reporting back to residents, by working collaboratively to identify possible strategies and solutions, and by advocating for additional state and federal funding to support projects in our ward. All of this to support and highlight the work our Mayor, City Council, and government officials do every day to support our City, and help you stay informed about their work.

Strengthening Community

Supporting people at every age of life, providing all accommodations, so Beverly works for us all and is a place where everyone thrives and belongs. This work begins in our public education to ensure every child has a great start to life. Reimagining public spaces for our vibrant community and allowing them the flexibility to meet our current and evolving needs. Supporting our artists, entrepreneurs, and small business owners to build community wealth, while continuing to strengthen city infrastructure to prepare for climate impacts.

Embracing Differences

Ward 2 is a diverse collection of neighborhoods, including dense urban areas, historic districts, small parks, quiet residences, and almost 2 miles of coastline - each unique with its own character. There are many sides to every issue, and we will not always agree with one another. Everyone matters, and if elected, Danielle will work hard to be a voice for every resident in Ward 2. How does that work? Through having the difficult conversations, and pausing to reflect upon new perspectives and unfamiliar ideas with the understanding that solutions may be found where they were not previously considered.
